Product description

Belgian Larch wood chips, for better soil and lower weed pressure

Natural Larch wood chips originate from Belgian forests. These chips form a harmonious combination with Douglas fir log chips and have a striking orange hue when purchased. Over time, they undergo natural discolouration, resulting in a soothing brown-grey nuance.

Derived from conifers, Larix wood chips possess impressive resilience and fall within durability classes 4 to 3. The Larix-douglas mix comes into its own in green spaces and recreational areas, including sports and play areas. Because of their soft, cushioning properties, they can also serve as a comfortable path for leisurely walks.

Although this mix is extremely suitable for a variety of applications, we recommend avoiding this mix in vegetable gardens. This advice is partly due to the smell released during spreading of the wood chips.
