Product description

Turnip Flat White May is a flat round tuber with white flesh. Fast-growing tuberous plant for spring and autumn. Used to be an important food crop. The leaves can also be eaten as turnip greens.

Fertilisation is not necessary. Sow in March/April at a row distance of 20 cm and thin out at 8 cm. Harvest is in May-June. Turnips also do well in autumn; sow in mid-August. The tubers can be ensiled at the end of October and kept until winter. 1 bag for approx. 8 m².
