Spinach 'Early Giant-leaf' is a sharp-seeded variety and a fast grower. Vroeg Reuzenblad' is especially suitable for an early cultivation. Spinach is not very sensitive to frost.

Sow from January-February under glass and from mid-February until early April in open ground. Early Giant Leaf requires well fertilised soil. From the beginning of August early giant-leaf can be used again. Harvesting can be done after 4 to 6 weeks. Spinach is not sensitive to frost, so cover is not necessary.
