Product description

Sagina subulata, also called fat wall or prime fat wall, is a evergreen, grassy, carpet-forming perennial with a sod-forming habit and small, emerald, needle-like, but soft-touching leaves. Sagina subulata blooms from May to August with a sea of small, star-shaped, white solitary flowers. The plant likes a pitch in the semi-shade and does well in any soil that is not too wet or dry. Fat wall is well hardy, sea breeze and air pollution tolerant and suffers little from diseases or pests. This native plant feels well at home in the rock garden, between tiles, under trees and shrubs and can also be used as a grass substitute.
