Product description

Prunus laurocerasus 'rotundifolia', also popularly known as 'paplaurier', is a large evergreen ornamental shrub with a compact densely branched form. It flowers in May and June with small, fragrant white flowers and has short, glossy, broad oval, leathery, medium green leaves. It prefers a position in the sun or semi-shade, does well in almost any type of soil, is reasonably hardy and produces inedible fruits in the autumn. Prunus laurocerasus 'rotundifolia' is tolerant to sea winds and can also cope with some air pollution, is useful as a formal hedge and attracts butterflies and bees.
