Product description

Malva moschata, also called musk-cheesewort, is a deciduous perennial with an upright, semi-shrubby habit. The basal leaves are palmate, lobed, deeply incised and grey-green in colour. Cheesewort flowers from June to August, with pure white/pink, fragrant, bowl-shaped flowers with a diameter of approx. 5-6 cm. Both the flowers and the bruised leaves give off a musky scent. Malva moschata prefers a position in full sun and a well-drained, moisture-retaining soil. The plant is very hardy, tolerant to sea wind and air pollution.
