Product description

Malus domestica "Elstar" is a cross between "golden delicious" & "ingrid marie", won by t. Visser in 1955 and marketed by the ivt of wageningen. It is a medium-sized, deciduous apple tree with a powerful, bushy growth, which needs winter pruning and summer pruning. Malus domestica "Elstar" flowers mainly from mid-May to early June, with a sea of light-scented, pale pink blossoms. Is self-pollinating. The fruits are medium-sized, greenish-yellow to dark red colored on the sun side. The apples have creamy white flesh with a juicy, sweet, aromatic taste.
