Product description

Liriope muscari, synonymous liriope platyphylla or in dutch lily grass, is a evergreen perennial with fine, sword-shaped, dark green, grassy leaves. Lily grass blooms from August to September with thick, white flower eagles that strongly resemble the inflorescence of the muscari latifolium, grape hyacinth. The plant likes a pitch in the semi-shade or shade, sheltered from harsh cold winds. Liriope muscari thrives well in acidic to neutral, medium fertile soil and is once established well drought tolerant. Liriope is well hardy, well disease resistant, tolerates sea breezes and air pollution and is a good gestation plant for butterflies, bees and flying insects.
