Product description

Ligustrum ovalifolium 'Aureum', also known as yellow variegated privet, is a medium-sized, semi-evergreen shrub with a densely upright habit. The leaves are yellow variegated, oblong, oval, reversed ovoid, green with a yellow edge. In July and August, this Japanese privet blooms with white to ivory scented flowers in panicle form, followed in autumn by small blue-black berries that attract birds. Ligustrum ovalifolium aureum likes a position in full sun or semi shade and is satisfied with any soil that is not too wet and therefore permeable. The plant is attractive to bees and butterflies, tolerates sea wind well and is also air-pollution tolerant.
