Geranium cantabrigiense ''st. Ola'' is an evergreen (hybrid) stork couch with a compact, ground-covering habit. The leaves are dark green, lobed and turn a beautiful red and orange in autumn. This geranium flowers abundantly in June and July with large white flowers with pink stamens. The plant prefers a position in the semi-shade or sun but will also do well in the full shade and is happy with any well-drained soil that is not too fertile. To prolong the flowering period, it is important to regularly remove spent flowers. Stork is hardy, tolerant to sea winds and air pollution. Geraniums are also good bee and butterfly plants.
