Gaura lindheimeri 'Snowbird' is a perennial with a bushy, upright habit. This beautiful candle has attractive narrow lanceolate dark green leaves and blooms from July to the end of October with white butterfly-like flowers. Gaura lindheimeri does well in any well-drained soil that is not too wet in winter. The plant is very hardy, tolerant to sea wind and air pollution. Lends itself well to a sunny border, wild garden or in combination with grasses.
