Product description

Gaura lindheimeri 'siskiyou pink' is a perennial with a bushy ascending growth and a polforming habitus. This beautiful candle has attractive narrow lancet-shaped, dark green with chestnut brown dappled leaves and blooms from June to the end of September with pale pink butterfly-like flowers whose petals are attractively pink-red veined. Gaura lindheimeri does well in any permeable soil that is not too wet in winter. The plant is fairly hardy, good sea breeze and air pollution tolerant and in good conditions has little trouble with pests or diseases, in too wet winter conditions there is a danger of root rot. Lends itself well to a sunny border, wild garden or in combination with grasses.
