Product description

Dianthus deltoides 'albiflorus', also known as stone carnation or zwolse carnation, is an evergreen perennial with a ground-covering, pol-forming habitus. This stone carnation blooms abundantly from May to July with white single flowers with five petals and serrated edge. He likes an airy location in full sun and requires a well-permeable, moist to moderately dry calcareous soil. This dianthus is very hardy , but hates wet feet in winter. It is once established fairly drought tolerant and can also be used as a coastal plant. Due to its tolerance to air pollution, it is also suitable for urban use. Stone carnation is used as a ground cover, cut flower and border plant, but can also be used in the rock garden or on a green roof.
