Product description

Acer campestre, called spanish barge or field maple, is a deciduous, native, small tree or shrub with a bushy, round crown. Is also frequently used for hedge formation. The leaves are 3 to 5 lobe, dark green colored and give beautiful yellow-red autumn colors. From the end of April, the maple trees with unobtrusive, two-hearted yellow-green flowers from which the winged samaras (wingnuts) develop in May. The field maple prefers a position in full sun or semi-shade and thrives well in any easily permeable soil. It tolerates very good pruning, is very hardy and drought tolerant, tolerates sea breezes and air pollution.
