Vine weevil trap
Our compact vine weevil trap consists of a wooden board with grooves. The grooves are filled with a gel and 2.5 million nematodes. Vine weevils are nocturnal predators that spend the day hiding under all kinds of materials such as pots, leaves, branches and our nematode trap. Adult weevils hiding under the trap become infected after a few minutes and die within a week. The trap measures approximately 10 cm x 12 cm and will infect and control weevils for six weeks.

Directions for use
Remove as many alternative hiding places for the taxus weevil as possible, such as flower pots, loose stones or boards. This way, the taxus weevils are more likely to seek refuge under the plank.
Slightly moisten the soil where you are going to place the trap. It is best to do this in a shady spot near fragile plants.
Remove the plank from the packaging. Moisten the gel with the nematodes so that it swells and stays between the grooves. Place the trap on the ground with the grooves and the gel facing downwards.
Keep the gel in the frame and the ground on which the frame lies moist for six weeks.
