Organic fertiliser compost
Do you want to improve the sandy soil in your (vegetable) garden? Then our fertiliser compost is perfect for you. Our organic fertiliser compost is the basic fertiliser for a whole year. It consists of a combination of animal manure and vegetable compost types. Very suitable for:

Garden borders on sandy soil
The vegetable garden on sandy soil
Roses, hedges (yew, beech, privet etc.) and hydrangeas
When to use the organic compost?
You can use this manure compost all year round, but it works best in the period from November to April. Or of course in new gardens in any period. It is an alkaline product and is therefore not suitable for acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons and conifers. 

The compost can simply be spread on the ground as a mulch layer and does not have to be mixed with the soil (digging or hoeing). If you are starting a border or vegetable garden and there is nothing in the ground yet in terms of plant material, then you can of course mix it. 

Why this organic compost?
Organic manure compost has a number of major advantages:

Very rich in nutrients which are slowly released throughout the growing season
Contains many trace elements and fungi (essential for soil life and the plant)
Soil life and water management benefits
Humus-building effect
Free of weeds and germs
Adds much more than granular nutrition (granular nutrition is a short-term nutrient medium that does virtually nothing for soil life and water balance)
Snails and slugs are not fond of it because of the fungi that are present
Alkaline effect
When you use the manure compost, you do not need to add any more nutrition throughout the year. Repeat this annually and you will continue to build a healthy and balanced soil that provides an ideal basis for your ornamental and kitchen garden plants. 

The product is supplied in 40 litre bags, which is sufficient for 3m2 of vegetable garden or 4m2 of ornamental border. The fertiliser compost is also available in big bags.
