A suitable temperature - The ideal germination temperature is between 21 °C and 24 °C for the majority of vegetables and between 25 °C and 30 °C for nightshades (e.g. tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, etc.) Once the plants have germinated, the temperature should be around 18 °C during the day and 15 °C at night.
