Discovered around 1860 and introduced in Europe, this zinnia is very different from other zinnia varieties but just as easy to grow. It forms abundant, flower-rich clusters with numerous small blooms in shades of yellow, orange, reddish-brown, and mahogany, featuring distinctive dark centers. Perfect for sunny borders on dry soil, reaching a height of 30 cm.

Cultivation Advice:

• Sowing: at 20°C in March-April

• Transplanting: first into a pot, then after the last frost, plant 20-30 cm apart

• Growing Conditions: loves full sun, warm temperatures, and rich, well-draining soil

• Flowering: June to September

• Extra Care: water during hot weather; use organic fertilizer or compost when planting
