Native means that these plants occur naturally in our regions. The cornflower and holly oak were once numerous in our cereal fields, but unfortunately they disappeared due to the use of pesticides. Bolder oak in particular is now making a well-deserved comeback! Native insects love the cornflower's abundant pollen and nectar, and the other species also contribute to biodiversity in this area.
