Tulipa 'Taco' - organic flower bulb

Tulipa clusiana ‘Taco’ – botanical red and yellow tulip

Tulipa clusiana ‘Taco’ is a charming botanical tulip with a natural and elegant appearance. Its slender, pointed flowers combine a warm red outer colour with a bright yellow interior, creating a beautiful star-like effect when the flowers open in sunny weather.

Growing to approximately 20 cm tall, ‘Taco’ remains compact and is ideal for the front of borders, rock gardens, pots and containers. Thanks to its natural character, it is also excellent for naturalising, allowing you to enjoy its flowers year after year.

🌷 Small but remarkably beautiful

Tulipa ‘Taco’ flowers in spring, generally from April to May. The two-tone flowers look particularly attractive in a sunny and warm position. Plant several bulbs together to create a natural splash of colour among perennials, ornamental grasses or other botanical bulbs.

One of the great advantages of botanical tulips is their ability to return reliably under suitable conditions. ‘Taco’ is therefore an excellent choice for creating a natural, low-maintenance and colourful spring garden.

🌱 Planting advice

Plant the bulbs in autumn, from September to December, in well-drained soil. Choose a sunny to partially shaded position, preferably somewhere warm where the bulbs receive plenty of sunlight.

Plant the bulbs approximately 10 cm deep, with around 10 cm between each bulb. For a natural effect, plant the bulbs in groups. Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering so that the bulb can store enough energy for the following year.
