Pyrus communis ‘Conference’ is a historic and reliable pear variety from England, developed around 1880 by the nursery Rivers & Son. The name ‘Conference’ comes from a pomological congress in 1884 where the variety was first presented. This organic espalier pear tree is ideal for small to medium gardens and can be trained against walls, pergolas, or as a free-standing espalier.
