Pyrus communis conference - pear - Organic fruit tree, half-standard

Pyrus communis ‘Conference’ is a classic and highly popular dessert pear first developed around 1880 in England by nursery Rivers & Son. The name ‘Conference’ refers to a pomological congress in 1884 where the pear was presented for the first time. This organic half-standard pear tree is suitable for medium-sized gardens and various tree forms.

• Size & Shape: fairly large, slender, bottle-shaped with russet markings

• Colour: green to green-yellow when ripe

• Flesh: pale yellow, pleasantly sweet, juicy, with a melon-like aroma
