Potentilla fruticosa ‘Lovely Pink’, also known as shrub cinquefoil, is a compact, floriferous shrub that brings months of colour to the garden. From June until late October, it produces masses of soft pink flowers that fade slightly with age, creating a delicate and elegant effect that suits naturalistic or romantic plantings.

This plant stays low and bushy (around 60 cm tall and wide), making it perfect for front gardens, borders, or low hedges. ‘Lovely Pink’ thrives in a sunny position and tolerates a wide range of well-drained soils. It is very hardy (down to about –25 °C) and reliable even in colder climates.

Potentilla fruticosa is bee- and butterfly-friendly, low-maintenance, and benefits from a light pruning after flowering to stay compact.
