Narcissus Rip van Winkle - Organic flower bulbs

Narcissus ‘Rip van Winkle’ – Organic Flower Bulb

Narcissus ‘Rip van Winkle’ is a special, compact daffodil with striking golden-yellow, double flowers. The narrow, deeply divided petals give the flowers a playful, almost star-shaped appearance. With its compact growth and early flowering, this organic daffodil is a real highlight in the spring garden.

This daffodil grows to approximately 15 cm tall and usually flowers in March and April. Thanks to its low-growing habit, ‘Rip van Winkle’ is ideal for the front of borders, rock gardens, among perennials or in pots and containers. It also looks beautiful in naturalistic planting schemes.

One of the great advantages of Narcissus ‘Rip van Winkle’ is that it is very suitable for naturalising. Leave the bulbs in the ground after planting and enjoy the cheerful yellow flowers again every spring. Under suitable conditions, the bulbs can gradually multiply. Combine them with other early-flowering spring bulbs for a natural and colourful border or flower meadow.

Plant the organic daffodil bulbs in autumn, preferably between September and December, in a sunny to partially shaded position. Choose well-drained, humus-rich soil. Plant the bulbs approximately 10–15 cm deep and allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering. This allows the bulb to store enough nutrients for the following year's flowers.

Narcissus ‘Rip van Winkle’ is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a distinctive, compact daffodil with a natural appearance. Its striking golden-yellow flowers, early flowering period and excellent suitability for naturalising make this organic flower bulb particularly suitable for a sustainable and biodiverse garden.
