Narcissus ‘Pueblo’ – fragrant daffodil with beautiful colour change

Narcissus ‘Pueblo’ is an elegant and floriferous Jonquilla daffodil that brings a refined touch to the spring garden. The flowers open in a soft lemon-yellow colour and gradually fade to creamy white and eventually almost pure white as they mature. This subtle colour change gives the daffodil a particularly attractive character.

The flowers are often produced several per stem and have a pleasant, sweet fragrance. Growing to approximately 30 cm tall, ‘Pueblo’ remains relatively compact and is suitable for borders, pots and containers.

🌼 A daffodil that returns year after year

Narcissus ‘Pueblo’ generally flowers in April. Its combination of light-coloured flowers, soft yellow trumpet and pleasant fragrance makes it an excellent choice for a natural and atmospheric spring garden.

This strong daffodil is perennial and suitable for naturalising. Plant several bulbs together for a fuller display and allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering so that the bulbs can store energy for the following year.

‘Pueblo’ is also suitable as a cut flower and performs very well in pots and containers.

🌱 Planting advice

Plant Narcissus ‘Pueblo’ in autumn, preferably from September to December, as long as the soil is frost-free. Choose a sunny to lightly shaded position with well-drained soil.

Plant the bulbs approximately 10–15 cm deep. For a natural effect, plant several bulbs together. Allow the foliage to die back completely after flowering before removing it.
