Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ (organic flower bulb)

The anemone-flowered dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ is a vibrant and rewarding summer bloomer that brings months of colour to the garden. It flowers abundantly from July until the first frost and grows to around 80 cm tall. Its striking orange blooms with a contrasting centre make it a real eye-catcher in borders.

Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ is organically grown and combines beautifully with perennials and other dahlia varieties. With its strong stems and decorative flowers, it is also an excellent cut flower with a long vase life.

Plant the tubers in spring, after the risk of frost has passed. Dig a generous planting hole, loosen the soil well and enrich it with good-quality potting soil. Place the tubers carefully in the hole and cover them with 3–5 cm of soil. Keep a planting distance of 30–60 cm and water immediately after planting.

Dahlias perform best in a sunny position. As they are sensitive to frost, it is recommended to lift the tubers after flowering and store them frost-free, allowing you to enjoy them for many years.

For cut flowers, harvest the stems early in the morning and place them straight into lukewarm water with flower food.
