Growing Tips for Black Carrots

• Sowing: March–May, in loose, deep soil enriched the previous year.

• Rows: 25–30 cm apart.

• Thinning: at the two-leaf stage, thin to 10–15 cm spacing.

• Storage: roots can remain in the ground and be harvested as needed.

• Harvest: from October onward.

• For larger roots: sow in June–July for harvesting the following year from October–December.
