Growing tips for Radichetta cut lettuce

Sowing

• Under cover: February–March

• In open ground: after the last frost until September

• In nursery trays: sow and transplant after 4 weeks at 30 cm spacing, when plants have 4–5 leaves

• Direct sowing: thin to 10 cm, later to 30 cm

Radichetta grows best in sunny locations, on fresh, humus-rich soil, with regular watering during dry periods.
Sow every 3 weeks from February to September for a continuous harvest.

Care and disease prevention

• Keep soil moist with mulch

• Water regularly during dry spells

• Protect from slugs

Harvesting

• Harvest 4–8 weeks after sowing, depending on the variety

• Cut leaves when they reach about 15 cm, leaving the heart intact for regrowth
